Where Starfishr comes from and what we stand for.

Why does Starfishr exist?

Starfishr is built by people who work in the artist world themselves. For years we missed a tool that understands the business side of this job and respects the creative side. So we built it ourselves.

That makes us small and quick to move, and that is a choice. You are not talking to an anonymous software company here, but to people who know the same gigs, the same admin and the same deadlines you do.

Starfishr is deliberately never finished. The core you rely on every day is stable and stays that way. Around it the platform keeps evolving: new features appear regularly, based on our own experience and above all on what our community tells us.

Starfishr was not thought up in a meeting room. It is built by people who perform, book and invoice themselves. It is the tool we spent years missing.
